The time has come quicker than expected. The girls have outgrown their shared cot so we spent the best part of the weekend erecting the second and rearranging the nursery to suit. This was far more time consuming than we had envisaged. In fact (if one were to have a moan) we rearranged the room four times before I got the seal of approval – not ideal when Ireland were kicking off their Six Nations rugby campaign.
It’s a job I’ve been dreading for ages and I’m now glad it’s done. Other than rearranging the nursery we had a very chilled out weekend and the girls caught up on some much needed sleep, in less cramped conditions.
Sam went on a shopping spree on Saturday for a few hours while I enjoyed some quality time with the girls. I also managed to fit it a 17.5k run which I enjoy immensely, although I did suffer a bit afterwards.
Some pictures of the newly arranged nursery (still work to do) and some random ones a swell.
