A very special day indeed. This year I've been well and truly spoiled. Early in the day Sam sent me a lovely text message (with the first pic attached) wishing me a Happy Valentine's Day. The girls dressed in their Valentine grows, how beautiful.
When I came home from from work the girls had prepared one of my favourite meals with the table set under candlelight. Thankfully the girls were no trouble and were set for bed after their 7pm feed which gave us some lovely quite time together with a few glasses of wine - just like old times!
It's been a beautiful family evening and a credit to my gorgeous fiancee, I love you so much.
Thank you and Happy Valentine's Day love.
The time has come quicker than expected. The girls have outgrown their shared cot so we spent the best part of the weekend erecting the second and rearranging the nursery to suit. This was far more time consuming than we had envisaged. In fact (if one were to have a moan) we rearranged the room four times before I got the seal of approval - not ideal when Ireland were kicking off their Six Nations rugby campaign.
It's a job I've been dreading for ages and I'm now glad it's done. Other than rearranging the nursery we had a very chilled out weekend and the girls caught up on some much needed sleep, in less cramped conditions.
Sam went on a shopping spree on Saturday for a few hours while I enjoyed some quality time with the girls. I also managed to fit it a 17.5k run which I enjoy immensely, although I did suffer a bit afterwards.
Some pictures of the newly arranged nursery (still work to do) and some random ones a swell.
