Thank you very much for for all the birthday wishes.  I spent most of the day on a bus travelling from Colonia to Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay.  We arrived early in the afternoon, went for a walk around the city and had a meal and a few bottles of wine to end the day.  I won’t bore you with the 5 pictures we took in and around the city – so that says a lot – but will include some of our meal which was beautiful.

We both had the biggest and best lump of fillet steak, ever.  Not only did I eat mine but half of Sam’s too – I could have burst!  And the wine wasn’t bad either.

So that’s it for another year.  I can’t believe I’ve turned 35  As I write this post I’m closer to the age of 40 than 30 but feel good for it!

Damn that steak was good!
