Not that interesting but just to share with you our new addition to Elvis, an en suite bathroom.  We’re having a cheap and cheerful time travelling in NZ so far, I think we’ve only ever booked into a campsite once.  Of course that comes with its own problems, not having a toilet or shower on board.

We’ve gotten sick of hijacking restaurant and cafe toilets to have a wash in the mornings, so Sam came up with a great idea of building our own and it works – if you’re not shy that is.  Travelling has turned Sam into a right pikie – even started growing leg and under arm hair – a right hippy!

Yes that is me at the early hour of 9:30am having just got up and needing the toilet and a wash.  The shower is simply a bucket of water with some soap and toilet a nice clean patch of grass by the road.

Have we mentioned that our body clocks have completely changed.  Before we left work we were used to the 8hr work, 8hr play and 8hr sleep, now it’s simple 12hr sleep and 12hr play – a hard life!
