Sam B’day
November 28th, 2008 | Posted by in 04-ThailandJust a heads up, it’s Sam’s 29th birthday tomorrow and she’s very excited as you can imagine. It would be nice to receive a few birthday wishes as I’m guessing she may be feeling a little homesick, especially as it’s her dad’s birthday on the same day – Happy Birthday Keith!
To take her mind off being away from home, I’ve booked us on a nice surprise outing, which I’m keeping a secret for now in case she reads this post, so you’ll have to check back over the next few days for an update.
There will be no phone coverage or email for the next day or so, but we will receive all messages on our return.
I hope she likes the trip

Well of COURSE it is Sam’s birthday. Even if I didn’t have my usual reminders in place I was reminded by a post on Emma’s Facebook this morning. It seems very strange not to be able to wish happiness in person so I’ll just have to store up a birthday hug and a kiss for some time in 2009.
When you look back on this birthday in the future you will always remember it as the one when you were travelling so it will ever be special.
Have happy times and know that we are thinking of you and raising a glass in your honour. The fact that we might have been drinking anyway is not important ;)
And many happy returns from us! Have a lovely time and we will wait to hear what happens. Will raise several glasses!
