Just a quick post to let everybody know that we arrived safely at our grotty hotel in Mumbai.  Last night we went out for a few beers with some of the other travellers from the African Hotel in Cairo and stayed up till our taxi at 2am.  It was a very pleasant flight with EgyptAir but we didn’t get much sleep.  When we arrived here we had a shower, washed some clothes (pics) and now plan on going out now to check out the area and maybe taste the local delicacies.

We only plan on staying here tonight and booking somewhere else tomorrow – it really is grotty.  The bed is damp, there was water all over the floor from the leaking fridge, no hot water  – the list goes on.  Regular postings will resume soon.
