Kilcorby log cabins…why? Ask Ben, he thought he had booked log cabins in Killykeen Forest Park ………..as he had been to Killykeen before and said it was an amazing place! But as we drove up towards reception he said he didn’t recognise the place …..and said it must have changed in the ten years since he had been………………………….well, the ape had only gone and rang directory enquiries and asked for log cabins in Co. Cavan………they said Kilcorby Log Cabins and he said “sure that must be it”, and there we have it………………that’s how we ended up in Belturbet, Co. Cavan – out in the arse hole of nowhere!

As it happens, it turned out to be a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend,……there was Ben and Emma, Noel and Mairead, Damien and Sharon and Sammy and I (Davey). We ate, drank, smoked, reminisced, fished, smoked some more, BBQ’d, had another smoke and a few drinks, more reminiscing…………….and the story went on!

Thanks guys for a fab weekend!
